  • Am I required to attend?

      • Yes, IHG Owners and Operators ARE required to attend the Annual Conference. Brand Standards state:
      • Each year, the Licensee must attend the Annual Conference for owners/investors, currently called the IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference. The date, frequency, name and focus of the Conference may change from time to time. The Licensee is responsible for paying the registration fee. Supplemental registration fees will apply to an accompanying guest or spouse. All fees are due at the time of registration. Licensees cannot be invoiced for registration fees. If the Licensee has multiple properties, one registration is acceptable for multiple properties.
      • Brand Standards state:
      • The General Manager is also required to attend the Annual Conference for owners/investors, currently called the IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference. The date, frequency, name and focus of the Conference may change from time to time. The General Manager is responsible for paying the registration fee. Supplemental registration fees will apply to an accompanying guest or spouse. All fees are due at the time of registration. Operators cannot be invoiced for registration fees.
        • Those Licensees and Operators who do not register are subject to being invoiced the full registration fee by December 2013.
      • Directors of Sales are not required to attend the annual Conference but are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to participate and reap the benefits of a well-designed Sales track. Ask for your Operator's support in attending this valuable once-per-year Conference.
  • Can my fees be billed?

      • All fees are due at the time of registration.  IHG does not invoice Conference fees.
  • What are registration fees?

    • We're pleased there is no increase in registration fees from 2012 to 2013.
    • Owner, Operator, Sales and Corporate Registration Fees are $1,450 USD
    • Spouse/Guest Social Registration Fees are $500 USD*
    • *Spouse/Guest Social Registration fee includes: Access to all social events.  No breakfasts, lunches or business sessions are included with the Spouse/Guest fee. Guests at the IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference will include a Spouse/Guest Luncheon with a special guest, to be announced.
  • When and how do I register?

    • We've tried to answer all of your questions through this website.  Feel free to look around at the details, which will update periodically.  Look for registration to open the week of August 12.
  • What if I need to cancel?

    • Please bear in mind attendance is mandatory
    • To Cancel your Registration:
    • Log into your registration using the unique username and password you created during registration.  Once you are logged into your registration, go to Cancel Registration, which is located under the Edit Registration menu.
    • Cancellation/Refund Policy:
      Cancellation must be received no later than midnight Eastern Standard Time on September 27, 2013. Prepaid registration fees less a processing fee of $300 USD will be fully refunded until midnight Eastern Standard Time on September 27, 2013. Cancellations occurring after September 30, 2013 will not be refunded.
  • How do I get a copy of my registration invoice?

    • You will be able to view/print a copy of your receipt after you have submitted your online registration form. For additional needed documentation, contact IHGAmericasConference2013@travelhq.com.
  • Can I pay with a Purchase Order (PO)?

    • No. Payment via credit card, check or wire transfer is required at the time of registration..
  • What if I am paying by check?

    • NOTE: Do NOT send any checks directly to IHG.
    • After you have completed your 2013 IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference registration, in the payment type select 'check'. Please send your check to "Maritz" as indicated below, within 30 days of your registration, with a deadline of September 30.

  • What if I am paying by Credit Card?

    • You will have an opportunity to input your credit card information during the online registration process. Your credit card statement will show a charge from "IHG".
  • What if I am paying by wire transfer?

    • After you have completed your 2013 IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference registration, in the payment type select wire transfer.
